Series: "Forgotten Memories" pt 4
Storyline: John, driven mad with jeolousy, does the only thing he thinks will allow him to be with Vala.
So he gets rid of Daniel for good. Ridden with guilt he tells Vala the truth about what happened.
She stuggles to forgive him, so John punishes himself for not only killing Daniel,
but for still managing to lose Vala in the process.
Soon Vala sees the the torment John is going through, and realising she still has feeling for him fights to get him back.
They finally begin a new life together, but will it last with this terrible secret they keep?
Will Daniel's death come back to haunt their newfound love?

MGM put up a new interview with Rachel Luttrell today on their Web site. There's also a great new photo of her - I love her hair in this one!

Why This Must Be Read:

I am not a big fan of Wraith themed stories, but I trust sardonicsmiley and I am really glad I gave this fic a chance. The author paints a vivid picture of 'life' aboard a hive ship, but at no point did I feel like the collective Wraith reputation was threatened by their portrayal here. A fantastic Rodney-centered story, Permutationality (say that five times fast!) does an excellent job of 'show, don't tell' in terms of what Rodney goes through as a character and how he copes with his situation.

This is a great mid-length read (clocks in at around 20,000 words) that constantly offers those little 'oh!' moments I love so much when reading creative authors. There were many times while reading this that I said to myself, 'why haven't I ever read a fic with that plot point in it before?' If you usually hesitate, like I tend to, in starting to read a Wraith-centered story, let this be the fic that changes your mind. It's that good.
